12:19 am - Nintendo Wii
So after a long day of classes and group presentation worth 20% of my mark in one class, I went home to relax. Five minutes later, I went to Ashley-Paige's house to try out her new Wii and let me say it was an experience. We left at roughly 11:45 p.m. from being tired. It was so much fun. There was boxing, golf, bowling, tennis and another sport and man they were great. First off, let me say that boxing was ridiculous exhausting for us. Man, people are going crazy in this game. Using the controllers is definitely a new experience in game play. All I have to say it that with the new trend of eliminating trans fats everywhere and having systems and games like this, including Dance Dance Revolution, there is going to a be generation of kids that are going to be super healthy and super fit that are playing these games.

07:20 pm - Quick update
I am currently recovering from what I believe to be the flu. I got sick around Saturday night/Sunday morning. Felt pretty crappy until that night where I was temporarily better. Then, I woke around 4 am Monday with some problems. I was hallucinating (and feeling) that I was moving at hyper-speeds while imaginary voices were telling me that I was going to be rich and just do it now. I believe they were trying to tell me to sell my blanket to make money, which was no longer my blanket, but instead a new metallic-like alloy that was easily malleable and could replicate itself. At this point of the hallucinating, I decided to sit down and not move till this stopped along with the voices. It was quite an experience at 4 am in the morning when I had to write a midterm later that day. What a crappy weekend it had been. Oh well, almost better now. Yahoo, for no more crazy hallucinations.

10:18 pm - Stressed out
Okay, I gotta say this, WTF man!

Okay, I have a 3hr class that starts at 2:30 p.m. on Mondays. I also have another class on Mondays that starts at 6:30 and also goes for 3hrs. So I go to my 2:30 class and my prof talks for about roughly 40 minutes, really briefly going over concepts. We then break for 10 minutes and when I get back, he's given the class an assignment that's 17 pages long (well really about 14 pages) and its about what we have done in the that current class. Then, he tells us that this is due before 8 a.m. TOMORROW morning. This is retarded, the things he's asking us for he didn't even explain that well and he wasn't even at his office for help. To top this off, I finished the assignment during my last class, (that last class prof understood the dilemma and ended class early for us) and found out that the offices close at 6:00 p.m. and are completely locked down until 6:00 a.m. next morning. So now, I have to wake up and take the earliest bus (literally) to the school in order to handle my assignment in on time for this god damn prof. I know I'm not going to be the only next morning waking up to slip some damn piece of paper under that stupid door. I'm pissed. End of story.

Note: It's now Tuesday morning, still pissed off at him.

07:12 pm - Busy busy
Life has been so busy lately. I mean I'm actually forcing myself to do stuff this year. There's my job, there's the overwhelming (sorta, mainly the evil biology again) workload from classes, helping with CSS (Commerce Student Society), going to the finance competition thing for stocks soon and of course, JDC WEST!!! Ugh, so much to do but so little time.

10:57 pm - Quick update
Time for a short entry. Gotta call Dane tomorrow to see when he's coming to Prince George. Gotta get a haircut, gotta buy some textbooks and gotta get a new bus pass for the new school year. The new year school year is upon us and the time of summer is diminishing and disappearing. Oh, Sam if your reading this, the Action Shields are on the way, Nathan will explain it to you. That's all for now.

Yahoo! My exams are done! No more school, well until September. But yahoo!!! Time to work for the money and pay those bills. So many things I want to buy but sadly can't afford right now. For example, I have been wanting to buy a new computer (laptop) since about grade 11 and sadly each year I don't due to the lack of funds or the funds being allocated to other area like i.e. school tuition. This year though I will probably finally pick myself a new laptop after I get my student loans. I really hope I get enough from student loans to do this method this year. It's one of many items on my wish list. Another item I want is a nice brand new watch. I only watch I had in the past was a cheap Timex and that stopped working ages ago. This watch would set me back about $248.50 (It's $275.00 but 10% discount). It's nice and I want. Nice metal strap, blue face, nice size and sporty look. So many wants but so little money. Sigh. I really wish I didn't have student loan debt. Oh well, that's life.

11:38 pm - No free time for the next 2 weeks
Work, school, homework, sleep and repeat. This is and has been my schedule for the past two weeks and is going to be for the next two weeks. I'm so damn busy these days. Tomorrow I have a class at 6pm, but will end up probably at the school at the earliest 9 am or the latest 12. I have to write 2 reports, one daily assignment and a case study. So busy. Ugh.. So glad its my day off tomorrow. The balancing of classes and work is indeed a delicate matter, especially in condensed summer courses. Can't wait till the 17th, classes and exams will have ended for the summer. Bad side is that regular fall classes start again in about 2 weeks. Yahoo....... I get a 2 week vacation that I'll probably be working for the most it. Yeah for money but boo for no free time.

July 12th, 2006

10:59 am - It's July already?
Time for another update. Let me say, damn. Trying to work full-time and going to school isn't really too fun. Luckily they do not conflict in time but I realized I have no real free time anymore. I mean I have days off from work, but usually, well currently anyway, I am working on some school related assignment. Argh! Oh well, money will get me by this situation. Hazaa! Wow, that's written down does not look too great. So yahoo, got my credit card yesterday. Woohoo, spending potential money that I do not have. The steps needed in order to buy better stuff in the future with a better credit rating like houses. Houses, nice places, hopefully will own later after I pay off my student loans.

Saw the latest Pirates movie this past Sunday. I enjoyed the movie, and especially liked how they brought back most the characters from the first film. Damn that ending and wanting me to see the third movie. I can not believe its already July and have the summer is already over. That's just ridiculous. I mean school starts again (for most people, ie not me) in under 2 months and that's not that far away. Damn. Time sure flies by. Sigh. Yep, this is my update.

09:53 pm - Yahoo
Woohoo, I'm no longer unemployed. Got a job on June 23, which is usually a normal day except according to this web article.

http://sympaticomsn.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20060623/happiest_day_060623

Apparently the happiest day of this year is June 23. The equation Arnall devised to find the happiest day is O + (N x S) + Cpm/T + He. Usually I would ignore this as some random thing, but it was coincidentally on the same day as I got my job. There's science at work for you.

I'm currently working at Visions Optical, basically a store that does eye glasses and lenses work. However, for the first day, which was today, I basically was in the back sorting out their files and wow lots of damn paper cuts. So many little files and cabinets. Apparently there sorta a bit out of order and no real system was completed developed. Basically, there's about 14 cabinets and there's 3 rows of little envelopes, the size of the small letter in each cabinet. There's about the length of ones of those fridge-friendly 12-packs. So I have to organize the whole thing. So yeah lots of paper cuts. Yeah, apparently the previous staff, almost the entire previous staff was either let go or fired from their job. I mean bad for them and good for me. Yahoo for having a positive income instead of a negative income. Now to relax and go to work tomorrow.

04:49 pm
So I finished my spring courses at UNBC, and have a two week break till summer courses start at UNBC. I got sick on the past Friday and began have trouble sleeping. What kind of trouble you may ask? This past night, I kept waking up every hour and it felt like my bed and also my self was untangling itself somehow. It weird vine type feeling. I kept sleeping in different places in my apartment like my computer chair, the brown couch and like my chair with the ottoman. I kept changing like every hour. Man, I'm so poor. Just another step towards me becoming a hobo.

Began watching parts of Last Comic Standing recently, due this one guy called Gabriel Iglesias. Wow, this guy is hilarious, I mean his stand-up is great. I loved his 1 minute stand-up on the show. Such a great comedian.

Go to YouTube.com and look him if your interested.

07:26 pm - Yep
So, today is June 1, 2006. I'm currently 21 as of today (Yep, legal in Las Vegas, baby). I mean the day has kinda past with me without me really noticing it. Been in Vancouver as of this past Monday night. Tuesday, it was my brother's graduation from UBC and that was amusing. So many people from the lower mainland graduating from UBC. I read the list for the graduating section, and easily about 90% came from the lower mainland and about 7-8% came from outside BC and Canada and the remaining 2-3% was people from BC not in the lower mainland. Then the next day, hung out with Kaarina, watched Crash, that movie about racism with all those actors and actresses. Quite an enjoyable movie, usually expected of movies of its caliber. Next day after that, I decided to venture out towards Richmond. So the planned route was Skytrain it Granville station and take the 98 to Richmond centre. I got on the Skytrain and the very next stop two cops appeared on my section of the train doing fare checks. Yes, someone got caught and had to be taken off the train. Another amusing sight. After the bus ride to Richmond I met up with Sam and Sabrina. They introduced me to their asian lesbian friends, Sophie and Candy. They were cool, no complaints. Damn, does Sophie have a huge place and they have their weird lobster/centipede creature that apparent ate the rest of the fish in the tank. Tried Korean food today, quite tasty for the most part of it. An odd rice dish that was not so tasty as it could be but apparently they said that it was not up to par that day. Free lunch, can not complain though. Yep, rush hour sucks, thoughts randomly pouring in. Sophie had a very nice car. I mean I'm not going to have a car near that amount anytime soon but a nice car in did. Kinda at my end's rope for thoughts right now. Perhaps another entry later on.

Yep...time for another update. I noticed that I usually updated this like once a month or maybe twice a month now. Whatever. Well just finished my third week of spring courses and it's going okay so far. Every week I have some sort of midterm or major assignment due, with the exception the first week or classes and the week I'm gone. So it's my brother's graduation/convocation at UBC on June 30th, so I might as well and show up since this is probably going to be an once in life time for him and I can't say that I'll try to make his next one. So the plan is to fly out May 29th and arrive in Vancouver at night and attend his thing the very next day. Then I'm going to be in Vancouver for the next couple days and mostly likely fly back the following Sunday at night. Just in time for Monday morning midterm at 9, oh what fun. Let's see the recap of the Prince George world:

Adam is tree planting, but he just took a week off for some reason, either his group got a longer break or something is up with Adam. I equally leaning to both sides right now. Myles was working at Synovate, but is quiting, well actually today. He got a job at the brewery here, not PWB, the other one, I think its called Caribou brewery, the one near CNC. So no more telemarketing for him. Still, jobless, woohoo. Damn Starbucks and 2nd interview and getting hopes up. Oh well. Hmmm, it's Ashlyn's B-day today, so were all going down to Kelly O'Briens, where else. I'm basically writing this down as I can think of them. Hmmm, my half-ass e-bay idea failed....hmm what else... Really like one of my professors for this semester. I currently have him as a prof for 2 out 3 classes right now and in one class he somehow threw in references to porn for 4/6 classes, and this takes in the fact that 1 of those 6 classes was a midterm. I don't know how he does it but he pulls it in the conversation from the weirdest angles. That's about all for now, oh one last side fact from that professor:

At least 3 people that worked at the university (not sure if they were teaching there or not) have been fired for looking at porn at work on the university computers.

03:24 pm - Its gone, well nearly gone
Adam is nearly moved out of the apartment. What a joyful day. However, there comes the cost of higher rent with him moving out, thus painful on the wallet. He's moving out of his own free will, he said he was going to move out at the start of next year (this was back in late January). It was a good thing that he said he was going to move out because me and Myles were going to kick him out at the beginning of next year anyway. But Adam is out, well he's coming back for one more trip for the last of his stuff but he's out of here!!!

He's apparently moving into a new place with two girls and I wish them the best of luck. I'm pretty sure they don't know Adam that well and let me just say I hope they survive the summer and next school year with him. Its was sure not a fun ride with Adam this past year.

For example, Peter and Sebastian came to Prince George to visit us before they had to write their exams. So everyone was drinking, they were all drinking tequila and Adam was loud and drunk as usual. He began to tackle Cbass and was really loud and this was around 1 a.m. and I'm pretty sure people heard us downstairs. It was at this point that I contemplated hitting Adam in the back of the head with my frying pan.

You see, my current frying pan is getting in worse condition as time passes and I could always use Myles's frying pan if I had to use it for something. I mean it still works, but hitting Adam in the back of the head was just so convenient. So Adam tackled Cbass again and Adam had his back turned away from me so I grabbed my frying pan and swung at the back of his head.

Keep going down.....

Then he fell on the ground face first, then repeatedly kept hitting the back of his head till the pan broke from over use. Since Adam was still drunk, I claimed that Adam committed suicide and that he wanted to end his life this way, tackling Cbass and then repeatedly hitting himself with my frying pan till he died. I'll be gone for a while. Prince George is too hot right now.....yes that will do....so yeah......talk to you in 5-10 years.

Well that's what I wanted to happen (except for the 5-10 years part) and now here's the real story:

But stopped right before hitting his head. You can not believe what control it takes to stop yourself from hitting a drunk Adam in the back of the head with a frying pan at 1 a.m. in the morning. The only really factor in stopping me from hitting was that I started hitting him it would be too hard and it would kill him and then I would come out of my self-induced rage against him realizing what I just did. Short story, Adam drunk and moved out and my frying pan still intact. The End

05:36 pm - Sleep
Sleep.
Everyone practically does it.

The main question is how much should we sleep?

I personally like to get about 8-9 hours a day, which is an average to some people. The thing that bugs me is how some people can operate on only like 3-4 hours of sleep a day and still function normally. Yes, I have referred to humans as robots that can function for this entry. Then at the other end of the spectrum, there's people that can sleep 10-16 hours a day no problem. I personally probably can only sleep maybe 10-11 hours max a day. Oh, these conditions are for normal state of health, meaning their not in bed for sickness or any illness. How can people do this? Crazy those little sleep and lots of sleep people. I mean at a certain point of day, you just have to get up and do something.

Yeah, this is my entry, I have a midterm to study for tomorrow and currently making dinner and this was the first thought that came to my mind while entering live journal.

Oh, starting to love those Chuck Norris and Mr.T quotes.

I will part with leaving one of them behind.

Mr.T once punched Chuck Norris at the exact moment Chuck Norris roundhouse kicked Mr.T in the chest. The result was the 80's.

08:01 pm - Mmmmmmm............money
Well, its St. Patrick's Day and people have began drinking. Have not done any drinking instead but instead went to the casino. Man!!! There's like a $5 video blackjack in the casino (unfortunately its in the smoking area) and I was on fire. With the initial investment of $20, I came back with $80 profit. I decided to quit at this point because I feared that I would begin to start losing money. So if was going to lose money, I might as well play the slots. Alas, while playing the slots, I made a profit of $5.50. Woohoo! A net profit $85.50 my best ever at a casino. I'm thinking of starting my own new St. Patrick's Day tradition of visiting the casino while others go drinking.

Mmmmmm....money....greed.....money

09:32 pm - My appartment building and its surroundings........what "joys"
History its first, then the stories

Well, for those who don't where I live, I reside in the Hartley Manor (formerly the Spanish Villa) on 3000-15th Ave of Prince George. It was considered the classy part of city 50 years ago and has been on a steady decline ever since.

Let's start off with the rumors of the building:
-it was suppose a whorehouse for a while
-someone was shot in our building
-multiple drug operations in our building
-there's are others but can't recall at the moment

What I known has happened outside this building:
-drug busts across the way in the townhouses
-weird domestic disputes
-a couple of times fire engines or ambulance have appeared at the townhouses
-a car hit a side of house, and the drivers fled the scene on foot
-a couple of car accidents (with cars and/or street signs)

What I've since in this building since living here:
-a cop walking around on the 3rd floor of this building
-a shattered glass front door of our building
-weird domestic disputes
-random ambulances and police cars in the front or side of the building
-there were apparently multiple pot operations in the building and some are supposedly still around (Note: That I mentioned pot and not drugs as I stated earlier)
-a woman on the 3rd floor who always looked outside her window when people came in through the side entrance (this effected Sam more than anyone since he noticed it first), believed she has moved out though
-random people coming to my old apartment that swore the person they were coming to visit still lived in my apartment
-a cat (will explain more at the end, its your moment of zen)

What I known has happened in this building but not to me personally:
-side note: for the next two points, the rooms tend to leave their front door unlocked

-random couple walks in the neighbor's apartment, (4 people living there, 2 guys and 2 girls, none work) and say that their the roommate's friend from work, after explaining that its the wrong room, they asked to borrow a phone, after making the phone call, after their phone call was done, they asked to borrow their computers for their internet, also to borrow their non-existent fax machine and etc, this is when the neighbor(he was the only one of the 4 there) had to basically force them out of the room
-same room as before just different person, one of the girls, well she was in her room one day, and heard some noise from the kitchen/front door area, so she calls out to see if anyone will answer, no one replies so she decided to investigate, she approached the front door/bathroom area and sees this random guy come out of their bathroom and just simply said "Thanks" and then just walked out without another word
-the newest one, the thing I learned today and the reason I'm writing this entry is some of our neighbors, about 2 rooms down from us, were robbed today (a projector, 2 phones and some other minor stuff) while they were at home in their rooms

Thus, enforcing a lock the door policy now for the time being at our apartment.

Now the for the last entry:

The cat:

As I stated earlier, I mentioned a cat in things I have seen even though your probably thinking "Oh big deal, a cat", but you see, this is no ordinary cat. Its a clever, flexible but odd cat. Well, in our building your only allowed cats as a pet and you have to pay a $100 deposit per a cat. Well, this particular cat has an odd habit. It can fit its arm under the front door and usually leaves it out there for a while. Let's just say for people who don't know about the cat and its habit it can be a bit scary.

For example, if I recall right, it was Myles's girlfriend who was unaware of the cat at the time of the first incident. Personally, if I was walking down the hallway and suddenly saw something furry shoot out beneath of a front door I was walking beside, I would definitely be freaked out. Let's just say she was very surprised by it.

Now, we have established the cat can be clever and odd but how can it be flexible you may ask?

Well, you see it all started off as a day of coming back home from somewhere with Myles and I had an empty plastic pop bottle with me. Again, the cat had its arm under the door and sticking into the hallway. For some reason, I did not like the cat sticking its arm out that particular day and decided to poke/jab the cat's arm with the bottle. This is where it gets a bit odd. As soon as I touched the cat, the cat somehow manage to extend its arm even more than reasonably possible, and getting superior flexible that a cat that has its arm under a front door should not ever be able to obtain, swatted my pop bottle away from itself with more force than deemed possible. At this point I freaking out and thinking what the hell is with this cat and how the hell did it just do that? I never bother to find out how it could have happened.

Thus, the point of the story is to never poke/jab a cat that has an arm extending out beneath a front door with a plastic pop bottle for fear of retaliating of it swatting it back with superior unrealistic force and flexibility.

12:08 am - Hmm...leaving already?
Well, update on the Andrew situation. He's leaving. He quit his job today at Sportmart after being a hard-lines manager for only 4 days. He said it been his worst work experience ever, worse than working at Zellers for the past 4 1/2 years. Now he's heading back to Smithers on the next bus tomorrow on Saturday.

All I have to say is this: Damn

Its that's time again, yes the fateful update. Well Andrew is staying with us currently in Prince George while he's looking for a house to rent. He's no longer working at Zellers and instead broke the trend and is one of the managers at Sportmart. Another person gets sucked into the city known an as Prince George. School.... ugh.... no actually break week for me this year because the college and university had alternative reading breaks. Thus my total days off out of a possible 10 days is 4 days, not even half. Sigh.... Crazy crazy.... been watching the Olympics this year very closely. For the men's skeleton (the same as luge but head first) Canada finished 1st, 2nd and 4th for the event. So the next time you want to think of Canadian men, just think of guys that are the best in the world at running and throwing themselves head first down an ice course going up to speeds up to 110 km/h.
